At this point, no one is quite sure what network Buffy the Vampire Slayer will be on come next season. Several networks have shown interest in the show, including ABC, UPN and FOX, and now that the WB’s negotiation period has ended, with 20th Century Fox unhappy with the amount of money the Frog Network is willing to cough up for the show, Buffy’s future network is up in the air. Stay Tuned…Joss Whedon and co-producer Doug Petrie have confirmed that the majority of the Buffy writing staff are working on Tales of the Slayers – a special eighty page graphic novel due later this year. Marti Noxon has stepped out, but Amber Benson – who recently co-wrote a Willow/Tara comic – will team up with a host of hot artistic talent to tell the stories of several different Slayers throughout history.Oz fans will be pleased to hear that the teen werewolf will be getting his own three part comic miniseries, written by Christopher Golden, starting in June.SFX Magazine recently announced the winners of The Readers Awards.Alyson Hannigan was named Best Actress. In second place was Sarah Michelle Gellar, who had won for the past three years. The Sexiest Women included Sarah Michelle Gellar in first place, Alyson Hannigan in third and Eliza Dushku in fifth. Amber Benson was named one of the best newcomers, Best Tie-In Book – The Watcher’s Guide 2 and Best TV Episode – Hush.At the 2001 TV Guide Awards, Alyson Hannigan lost out to Tyne Daly (“Judging Amy”) for Best Supporting Actress.Buffy the Vampire Slayer genius Joss Whedon has inked a new four-year deal at 20th Century Fox Television estimated to be worth over $20 million, Variety reports. The pact calls for Whedon to continue overseeing Buffy and its spin-off, Angel, as well as produce new programming for the studio. Whedon already has in the works a new pilot that could debut as early as next season.A day after threatening to quit if her hit Buffy the Vampire Slayer movesfrom The WB, star Sarah Michelle Gellar backed away from her ultimatum, theLos Angeles Times reported. “I’m not going anywhere, and I can’t stress thatenough,” a contrite Gellar told the Times on Wednesday, adding that she was”humiliated” over the reaction to comments she made to E! (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.)  The awards will take place in four ceremonies to be held in New York City on April 16, in Los Angeles on April 28, in Washington, D.C., on May 12, and in San Francisco on June 9.Confirmed: Sarah Michelle Gellar will be appearing as Daphne alongside Freddie Prinze Jr.’s Fred in the live action version of Scooby Doo.“Roswell” fans across the country are now helping make a young cancer patient’s dream come true. They have joined forces with the Pediatric Cancer Foundation (showcased on the episode ‘A Roswell Christmas Carol’ which aired on December 18th on the WB at 9PM EST). The organization is very touched by the many responses they have received from Roswell fans everywhere in the way of e-mails, letters, donations and toys arriving just in time for the holidays.The child is scheduled to fly with his/her family to California for a 2 day visit to Disneyland. The trip will also include a very special invitation from the cast to visit the set of Roswell at Paramount Studios during filming. The total expense for the trip will cost several thousand dollars, to be funded by the generous donations of dedicated Roswell fans everywhere. Donations in excess of the cost of granting the wish will be directed toward pediatric cancer research.
